BREAKING NEWS! SOCIAL SECURITY: NOW RECEIVE FULL BENEFITS OF $3,780!

Hello friends, welcome to Shoeba Español TV. Today we are going to talk about an issue that affects millions of Americans who receive Social Security benefits. Specifically, we will delve into the $3,780 payments, the push to eliminate Social Security taxes, and the possible increase in benefits that could transform the lives of millions of retirees and public sector workers.

We'll also look at some insightful comments from Hakeem Jeffries and dive deeper into what leaders like Donald J. Trump and Bernie Sanders are saying about the future of Social Security. Stick around for all the details, and don't forget to like and share this video—it helps us spread the word to more people who need it.

No social security taxes: a radical change?

Let's start with some good news: millions of Social Security recipients will soon be able to receive their full benefits without tax deductions. States across the country are moving toward completely eliminating taxes on Social Security benefits.

41 states and Washington, DC have already committed to not taxing Social Security benefits by 2025.

This leaves only nine states (Colorado, Connecticut, Minnesota, Montana, New Mexico, Rhode Island, Utah, Vermont and West Virginia) that still tax these benefits.

Lawmakers and citizens alike are asking an important question: Why are these nine states lagging behind? Who holds the power in these states, and why are they prioritizing Social Security taxes over helping retirees? Let me know in the comments what you think about this situation.

Donald J. Trump Promises

During his campaign, Donald J. Trump made a bold promise: if elected, he would eliminate all taxes on Social Security. This move could allow millions of Americans to receive their full benefits without deductions.

While many are hopeful, others are skeptical. Was this a genuine promise or just another campaign tactic? If you believe in eliminating Social Security taxes, write "I support not taxing Social Security" in the comments.

The pressure to make more profits

In addition to tax cuts, there is another pressing issue: increasing Social Security benefits. Lawmakers such as Bernie Sanders, John Larson, Sherrod Brown and Elizabeth Warren have been advocating for increased benefits.

Bernie Sanders proposed an annual increase of $2,400 for Social Security beneficiaries.

However, bills calling for benefit increases often face significant opposition in Congress.

Why? Critics argue that the U.S. economy is not stable enough to withstand such changes, but many consider this reasoning hypocritical. While there is money to send billions of dollars abroad, millions of Americans, especially the five million Social Security recipients living below the poverty line, continue to struggle.

What do you think? Should the United States prioritize its retirees over foreign aid? Share your thoughts in the comments below.

The Social Security Equity Act

Let's talk about the Social Security Equity Act, a key piece of legislation designed to address inequalities in the current system.

This law would repeal two controversial provisions:

1. Windfall Elimination Provision (WEP): Reduces benefits for people with pensions from non-Social Security jobs.

2. Government Pension Offset (GPO): Reduces benefits for spouses and survivors in similar situations.

If passed, this law would:

Restore full benefits to approximately 3 million public sector workers, including teachers, firefighters, and police officers.

Provide a significant financial boost to retirees who have been disadvantaged for decades.

Not everyone agrees, however. Critics argue that focusing on a small group of beneficiaries ignores the needs of the broader population. Sen. Chuck Grassley, for example, has said it's an "injustice" to the remaining 67 million Social Security beneficiaries.

What Hakeem Jeffries said

During a recent conference, Hakeem Jeffries highlighted a worrying trend: Some lawmakers are pushing for tax cuts for the wealthy while proposing cuts to Social Security and Medicare to balance the budget.

This is what he said:

"Many of my Republican colleagues in the House of Representatives want to block big tax cuts for the wealthy... and pay for those tax cuts by cutting Social Security and Medicare."

He warned that some plans could lead to a 21% reduction in Social Security benefits.

This is alarming, especially for those who rely on these benefits to survive. Tell us in the comments: do you think cuts to Social Security are justified to fund tax breaks for the rich?

The bigger picture

The debate over Social Security highlights a broader issue: the priorities of the U.S. government.

While some argue that the system needs reform to remain solvent, others believe that any cuts to benefits are unacceptable.

Meanwhile, proposals to cut taxes and increase benefits are gaining traction, offering hope to millions.

It's clear that Social Security will be a major topic of conversation in the coming years. Whether it's Donald J. Trump's promise to eliminate taxes or Bernie Sanders' initiative to raise taxes by $2,400, the stakes couldn't be higher.
