Nate Evans, who worked on Harris' 2020 campaign, is rejoining her team as a senior communications adviser. Evans recently served as the senior adviser for strategy and communications to U.S. Ambassador to the United Nations, Linda Thomas-Greenfield. His background also includes working as deputy chief of staff for Senator Amy Klobuchar and overseeing Harris’ rapid response efforts in New Hampshire during her previous campaign.

Kirsten Allen, Harris' communications director, and Ernie Apreza, her press secretary, will continue their current roles within the White House. Meanwhile, the campaign's communications hub in Wilmington, Delaware, continues to grow, with Michael Tyler leading as communications director and Brian Fallon advising Harris on crafting her daily messaging and managing media requests.

Additionally, Ian Sams, previously a key figure handling press matters related to investigations into President Biden, has joined the Harris campaign, adding further experience to her team.

While Harris is expected to focus on her campaign as Election Day draws near, she continues her official duties, including attending national security briefings and commemorating significant events such as the 9/11 anniversary. Her role as vice president also requires her to stay prepared for possible Senate tie-breaking votes, as Congress works through critical legislation and finalizes Biden's nominations.
