1. Open Settings:

   - Click on the Start button and open Settings.


2. Navigate to System:

   - In the Settings window, click on System.


3. Open Storage:

   - In the System section, find and click on Storage.

   - The system will scan and calculate storage usage, which may take a few seconds.


4. Access Temporary Files:

   - Once the scanning is complete, you'll see an option called Temporary files. 

   - Click on Temporary files. 


5. Select Files to Delete:

   - You'll see a list of various types of temporary files. Be careful with the selections:

     - Downloads: Uncheck this if you want to keep your downloaded files.

     - Recycle Bin: Check this if you want to empty your recycle bin.

     - Windows Update Cleanup: Check this to delete old Windows update files.

     - Additionally, you can check other unnecessary files like Temporary files, Thumbnails, and Microsoft Defender Antivirus files.


6. Remove Files:

   - After selecting the files you want to delete, click on Remove files.

   - Confirm by clicking Continue if prompted.


7. Cleaning Process:

   - The system will now clean up the selected files, freeing up storage space.
