Settings of time spent on Instagram

Hello, welcome back to Techsore! In this blog post, I will explain Settings of time spent on Instagram.

Settings of time spent on Instagram

There are two main settings related to time spent on Instagram:

1. Set Daily Time Limit:

- This feature allows you to set a maximum amount of time you want to spend on Instagram each day. Once you reach your limit, Instagram will notify you and temporarily restrict your access until the next day.

- To set a daily time limit:

    - Open the Instagram app.

    - Go to your profile.

    - Tap the hamburger menu (three horizontal lines) in the top right corner.

    - Select "Your Activity."

    - Tap "Time Spent."

    - Turn on "Set Daily Time Limit" and choose your desired limit (e.g., 30 minutes, 1 hour).

    - Tap "Turn on" to confirm.

2. Set Reminder to Take Breaks:

- This feature reminds you to take breaks after a certain amount of time spent on Instagram. You can choose the interval for these reminders (e.g., every 15 minutes, 30 minutes).

- To set reminders to take breaks:

    - Open the Instagram app.

    - Go to your profile.

    - Tap the hamburger menu (three horizontal lines) in the top right corner.

    - Select "Your Activity."

    - Tap "Time Spent."

    - Choose "Set reminder to take breaks."

    - Toggle on "Remind me to take breaks" and choose your desired interval.

Additional options:

- You can also view your daily and weekly Instagram usage statistics in the "Time Spent" section.

- If you accidentally hit your daily time limit, you can request additional time from your parent or guardian if you use Parental Supervision on your account.
